Most Americans Support Allocating More Federal Funding for Bicycling and Pedestrian Infrastructure
CyclingIndustryNews reported that in a survey conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates International, 58% of Americans would like to see increased Federal funding for cycling and walking infrastructure.
Interestingly, support is broad – all demographics and geographic regions surveyed responded in a similar manner. All political affiliations, age and income demographics supported the increase. Geographic regions supported the increase.
This gives me hope that we will see more infrastructure dedicated to bicycling and walking in the future.
